Hello Tabletop Gamers!
First off, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone. The RPG community has been amazing to us at Tabletop Things. Your feedback, input and praise have been crucial to us as we try bring you the best products we can.
I feel very much that I owe all of you an update, as many of you have connected with us on various levels. So here it is!
Tabletop Things is Moving!
The is company moving out of the basement! Tabletop Things has grown from being something I do on the side in my basement to now supporting 3 people. We’re out of room in the basement and we’re moving to a new space sometime in mid April. We are likely going to have extended shipping dates for all of our products when we make this transition. We currently ship in 1-3 days, and will be changing it temporarily to 3-5 days about a week before we move.
We put together this little video to try to connect with you guys a little better and give you a sense of where we’re at in all this!
We have some exciting new things in the works, so stay tuned!
Living Battle Maps
I haven’t uploaded a new Living Battle Map in a reeeeally long time. I’m so sorry about that, and it’s going to be a while longer before I can get back to it.
We have big plans for the future of Living Battle Maps. We are going to start development on a realtime solution for you to create your own Living Battle Maps quickly (as in, on the fly while running a game) and easily. It’s a little too early to announce any details, but this is going to be a priority for us sometime in the the coming months after our move.
Dice To Go: Tabletop RPG Roller
Some of you might know, we also created Dice To Go for iOS and Android devices. It’s under the company Electronic Gaming Solutions currently but we are bringing it under the Tabletop Things brand. We haven’t updated this app in a while and our users deserve our best. We are overhauling the app to better support the games you love, without reducing any of the current functionality for the people who need the flexibility. This major update will happen in tandem with the Living Battle Maps new tool development in the coming months.
I want to say a big thank you to all the paid users of Dice To Go and that you will all get something special in the updated version.
